great sea view but the hotel is in disrepair
The sea view from my room was breathtaking, providing a fantastic backdrop every morning. The staff were friendly, and their willingness to help made the stay feel a bit more pleasant.
The hotel feels run down and in need of severe improvement.

Not for the Faint of Heart
The staff really went above and beyond when I needed a fan in my room, they delivered it in record time. The lounge was a great spot, cozy and clean, perfect for escaping the hustle outside.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, considering the state of the place, but it was still manageable.

The location of The Albion offers easy access to the seafront and local attractions, making it a great spot for exploring Brighton. The room I stayed in had a good amount of space, particularly for this type of hotel. Although the bathroom was nicely renovated, the rest of the room felt dated, with old furniture and a carpet that clearly needed replacing. The TV was tiny, and the remote was dirty and not functioning well. I appreciated having hot water in the shower, but the sink was old and had a noticeable stain. Staff seemed uninterested when I addressed the issues with my room, which detracted from my experience. The breakfast options were limited, and I found the food quality to be just average. the hotel has potential with its location and room layout, but it really needs a facelift and more attention to customer service to enhance guest experience.

The location was great, super close to everything! 🏖️ Unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired, and the mattress was uncomfortably hard.

Nice sea view from certain rooms|Close proximity to the pier|Free cancellation option available until arrival
Room decor feels dated and worn, really seeing its age|Strong smell of paint in the hallways and rooms |Noise from the street and nearby alleys could be intrusive at night, depending on your room location|Bathrooms show signs of neglect in areas despite attempts at modernization|Frequent reminders about rules throughout the premises can feel more constricting than welcoming.

Pleasant Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed our room's sea view and the convenient proximity to the beach. The breakfast options were tasty, but dining service felt understaffed. Future guests should request a room away from smoking areas for a fresher experience.
